Our Mission Statement

The mission of The Maryland Paranormal Research Team (MPRT) is to collect and evaluate irrefutable evidence of paranormal phenomonons and the presence of ghost activities.  It is this team's focus to witness,collect and document scientific data and physical evidence by means of activities designed to promote awareness and understanding of the nature and origin of the evidence.
MPRT was founded in 1989 and has evolved into a dedicated group of enthusiasts of paranormal research.  Through the varied backgrounds and fields of knowledge of its members, MPRT offers a range of expertise for the collection, analysis and reporting of scientific and technical data.
All members of the Maryland Paranormal Research Team are committed to this Mission and foresee expansion of their efforts through professionalism and cooperation to the end goal of the true understanding of the paranormal mysteries.  It is further anticipated to have their efforts recognized and the paranormal activities acknowledged and protected by governmental agencies, the scientific community, and the public at large
